Hey Reader, ✨ She’s here! Your internet niece made her debut two weeks early, and we are head over heels in love with her already! 💕 But let me be real for a moment—this journey didn’t unfold how I expected. A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a rare liver condition that happens during pregnancy. There’s not much research on it, but it causes waste in my body to spill into my bloodstream and baby’s fluids, leading to the risk of stillbirth, birth defects, and other complications. That meant multiple doctor visits every week, two different medications, and ultimately an induced labor. Whew. While I’ll share the full testimony on the podcast, I want to dive into some lessons God has been teaching me about Faith and Business through this process. (Stick with me—this is good!) 1. Build Your Trust in God NOW 🙏When my husband and I got the diagnosis, we looked at each other and smiled. Why? Because we had already built a foundation of prayer and trust in God. This wasn’t the time to start a relationship with Him or bargain for blessings—it was time to stand firm in the faith we’d been cultivating all along. Sis, don’t wait until the storm hits to deepen your relationship with God. Invest in your faith now so that when challenges come, you’ll be ready to lean on Him with confident trust. 2. Discernment + Community = PowerAfter praying, God highlighted the names of people to pray with me on this. These “authorized advice-givers” became my go-to support system. Not to mention the abundance of prayer and calls had headed up to the day to delivery. You need people in your corner who can intercede, hold you accountable, and give godly advice. Isolation not authorized by God is a trap—don’t fall for it. And guess what? Not everyone needs to know everything all at once. Some people are spectators, and others simply don’t have the capacity to war with you in prayer. This is why discernment is so crucial. Listen for God’s voice to know when to share and who to share it with. Let’s Talk Business.3. Systems Are EVERYTHING for Your Business 🛠️💼In the middle of all this, I received a $5,193 check for a real estate deal I closed in NY from my couch in WI while eating homemade cookies. 🍪 (with more deals down the pipeline!) How? Systems. From client intake to contracts and communication, my systems ran my business while I rested. Here’s the thing: systems create predictability and sustainability in your business. They allow you to:

Create Evergreen Content 🌿📹Social media is great, but it’s fast-paced and fleeting. Platforms like Instagram give you 8 seconds to capture attention, while evergreen content—like podcasts, YouTube videos, blogs, and emails—continues to serve your audience even when you’re offline. During my diagnosis, I didn’t have the energy to show up on social media. But my podcast kept working for me, reaching the people I’m called to serve while I rested. Evergreen content frees you to focus on what truly matters: sales, deep engagement, and rest. If your business depends solely on social media, it’s time to rethink your strategy. What’s one evergreen content idea you can start creating this week? These four lessons—faith, discernment, systems, and evergreen content—have changed how I show up for both my faith, family, and business. By the way, that diagnosis? It’s gone! Delivery was the cure—God is so good! 🙌✨ Sis, I hope these lessons spark something inside you to rethink how you’re showing up in both your faith and your business. Hit reply and let me know:
I’m cheering for you and can’t wait to hear how you’re growing! With love and support, Odaisha P.S. Don’t forget to steal my Social Media Backend System for just $17—it’s helped me stay consistent without being glued to the gram. 😉 Grab it here! |
