Hey Reader, We’re in the final week of our "Trust God" email series! I pray that these devotionals have encouraged you to lean on God in every season. Today, we’re wrapping up with a powerful reminder: Trust God's Methods. I met Nichole when I first started my real estate business. The niche I entered into was one that many agents avoided because of the stereotypes that came with the territory, but I felt a conviction from God that this was my area of service. Nichole reached out in need of an apartment for herself and her daughter because her current landlord wanted her out ASAP, in addition to the unsafe living conditions of her home—or so she said. With my inexperience and desire to help, I spent four months working tirelessly to get Nichole out of her apartment and into a new one. I made calls to landlords, wrote her a letter of recommendation for a new unit, and went above and beyond to support her—only for her to scam me out of my $1,600 commission check. (Til this day I never heard from Nichole!). Now being three years later, still without that commission, I unexpectedly built a partnership with Nichole’s former landlord. That relationship has continued to produce financial fruit to this day, and she is one of my main clients that gives me units quarterly. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28 Sometimes, God's methods don’t make sense to us in the moment. We pour into people, opportunities, and situations expecting a certain outcome, only to experience disappointment or loss. But what we see as a setback, God sees as a setup. He orchestrates every detail for our good, even when we don’t understand it at first. God's methods may not always align with our expectations, but they are always aligned with His purpose. If something didn't work out the way you planned, trust that He is leading you to something greater. 💡Reflection Question: Where in your life do you need to shift your perspective and trust that God's methods are working for your good? Sis, I truly hope these messages encouraged you to hold onto faith and trust God with your concerns.
