Hey Reader, Today, I turn 30! 🎉

​

I used to have a whole checklist of where I thought I’d be by now—millionaire status, debt-free, five properties under my belt.

But as I sit here, surrounded by overdue laundry, angel smiles, baby coos, sweet cuddles, and the warmth of my husband's love—along with the aroma of homemade sorrel, red pea soup, bake and saltfish—I can’t help but reflect on what really matters.

This journey to 30 has been nothing like I expected but everything God intended. Instead of focusing on what I haven't achieved, I’m leaning into the powerful lessons I’ve gained along the way. I could write 30, but for the sake of time, here are 13 life-changing lessons I pray bless you as much as they’ve blessed me:

1️⃣ Mastery is better than money. When you become a master at your craft, the money will follow.

2️⃣ You are richer than you think. Look around—your needs are met, and many of your wants are too.

3️⃣ Worship & gratitude shift atmospheres. Doubt, frustration, and anxiety cannot survive in a heart full of worship.

4️⃣ Sometimes all you need is a humble cry… or a nap. Seriously.

5️⃣ Community is everything. The right people will hold you accountable, prune you, and push you toward purpose.

6️⃣ A successful and profitable life is one lived in obedience to God. Period.

7️⃣ Demonic compassion is real. Taking on people who aren’t your assignment will drain you. Sow, water, and let God do the growing.

8️⃣ A husband submitted to God is a household submitted to Christ. A Husband who loves God will Love you right!🙌🏾

9️⃣ Knowing God’s names and attributes will sustain you in seasons of despair.

🔟 Hastiness without God leads to disaster, debt, and delay. Slow down. Seek Him first.

1️⃣1️⃣ Comparison, envy, and offense are the enemy’s quickest traps. Stay vigilant. Stay grateful.

1️⃣2️⃣ Waiting on God builds stamina, faith, and spiritual maturity. Don’t rush your season.

1️⃣3️⃣ Instead of asking God for money, ask for provision. He doesn’t just give money—He makes ways. Trust Him to provide however He sees fit.

Sis, I pray these lessons speak to you like they’re speaking to me. As I step into this new chapter, I’m committing to pausing more, being fully present, walking in obedience, worrying less, and managing my business with ease.
