Hey Reader, We’re in week three of our "Trust God" email series, where I’m sharing devotional-style testimonies to encourage you to trust God—no matter where you find yourself on this journey. Now, let’s dive into today’s message: Trust God's Provision. A month before closing on our home, my husband and I were laid off from our jobs. With only $3,000 to our name, a cross-state move, a new mortgage, and other expenses, we moved forward in obedience, trusting that God would provide. During that time, I applied for food stamps to help us navigate our financial situation. They sustained us for a season—until they suddenly dried up, right when we weren’t prepared for it. I tried applying again but we were denied. Frustrated about having to re-budget an already tight budget and nervous about what we would do for food, I left the provision up to God. And He showed up. During that season, family members visited us, and while they were here, they stocked our fridge and freezer with more food than we could have imagined—so much that we could have given some away. "They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over." – Matthew 14:13-21 I once read a devotional that said, “Stop asking God for money—it puts Him in a box. God doesn’t just give money; He makes ways and provides.” God provides in multiple ways. Just as Jesus fed the 5,000 with a command and God sent a raven to feed Elijah, He will provide for you in the way He sees fit. So if you find yourself in a season of need, remind yourself that God is your provider, ask Him to supply, and watch how He does it. 💡Reflection Question: Where in your life do you need to trust God's provision more? With love & purpose, P.S.
