Trust God's Timing + Process

Hey Hey Reader,

Over the next four weeks, I’m kicking off an email series called "Trust God." As we step deeper into the year, it’s easy to feel discouraged when things don’t look like what we planned or what God promised.

Each week, I’ll be sharing short devotionals—personal stories and testimonies of moments when I had no choice but to trust God. My hope is that these emails encourage you to do the same, reminding you that God is always working, even when we can’t see it.

Without further a do here is: Trust God's Timing + Process.

"Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what He wants, and He will help you go the right way." – Proverbs 3:5-6

By now, I imagined The Woman of Power Group would have already completed a 30-day challenge, and I’d be deep into planning virtual and in-person events. But instead? I find myself sleep-deprived, wearing a shirt stained with baby spit-up, moving slowly as I recover, and constantly soothing a colicky newborn.

Lord, what happened to the vision and dreams You gave me? Where does this season fit in? And when does what I considered ‘normal’ come back?

After being freed from captivity, the Israelites embarked on a journey that should have taken 11 days—but instead, it lasted 40 years. God had promised them a land flowing with milk and honey, but He also had a process. He knew exactly what they needed to endure to strengthen their faith, refine their character, and prepare them for what He had in store.

The same is true for us.

The space between where we are and where we want to be is filled with God’s perfect process. And like the Israelites, we can trust that through it all, God goes before us—leading, guiding, and providing, like a cloud by day and a fire by night.

What feels like a delay is often divine preparation. His process isn’t meant to harm you but to shape you for something greater than you can imagine. So take heart—what God has promised will come to pass in His perfect time.

💡Reflection Question: Where in your life do you need to release your timeline and trust God’s process?

With love & purpose,
Odaisha
