When Business Is Slow and Doubt Gets Loud

Hey sis,

Can I ask you something?

What do you do when you know God gave you the vision… but the results aren’t matching the obedience?

When you’re building, showing up, pitching, praying and still hearing no.

When the bills don’t pause just because you’re in a faith season.

When you start wondering if maybe you misunderstood Him.

I’ve been sitting in that tension lately. Building something that feels bigger than me. Taking steps that stretch me. Doing the work. And still waiting for the breakthrough to meet me on the other side of my obedience.

And in the middle of it, I felt the Lord gently ask me, “Who do you say I am?”

Not who people on Instagram say He is.
Not who culture says He is.
Not even who I used to say He was in easier seasons.

But right now, in this stretch, in this pressure, in this uncertainty… who do I say He is?

Because the way we answer that question quietly shapes how we move publicly.

If in your heart you believe He has forgotten you, you’ll build from anxiety.
If you believe He is disappointed in you, you’ll build from striving.
If you believe He is still faithful, even here, you’ll build from trust.

And that posture changes everything.

Even if you never press play on the episode, I want you to sit with that question today. Before you pivot. Before you panic. Before you start over. Who do you say God is in your business right now?

This week on Call Her Profitable Podcast, I’m sharing what this season has looked like for me behind the scenes and how this one question is anchoring me while I wait.

If you’re in a season that feels slow, stretching, or uncertain, I recorded this with you in mind.

You can listen to the episode below.

I’m really glad we’re walking this journey together.

Tune in below.

Hey Reader, I want to start doing something a little different. Every now and then, I just want to share a quick devotional with you something simple, something real, something that meets you right where you are in your journey with God. So here goes: A New Definition of Success “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2 There are moments in this journey where things don’t look the way you expected them to. The progress feels slow. The...

Hey sis, Last week I celebrated my 31st birthday!!! I spent the day in the windy city of Chicago like a full tourist with my husband and baby girl. By 10am we were walking through the Chicago Zoo which is FREE by the way if you ever wanted to visit. My baby girl was in absolute awe. Every animal we passed got a big “Hiii!” a wave, or a loud “Wowww!” from her little voice. It was the sweetest thing to watch. By around 3pm we were in the heart of the city grabbing ramen, a rose shaped ice cream...

Hey sis, This has been one of the hardest financial seasons of my life. Not the kind you post about after it’s over. But the kind you walk through quietly. The kind where you are building what God told you to build… while wondering how you're going to pay your mortgage or car note. And in the middle of it, I felt the Lord gently correct something in my heart. Not my work ethic. Not my obedience. But my reliance. He brought me to Hebrews 13:5 and the phrase “be free from the love of money" has...
